3D Skeletal Animations

(2022)

3D animations rendered on Blender

The creation of these anatomical animations stems from BlueLink’s ongoing virtual reality project, which utilizes photogrammetry to create interactive 3D models of medical specimens directly from Michigan Medicine's anatomy lab. These computer-generated animations enable students to contextualize anatomy more efficiently, assist educators in explaining complex topics more clearly, and provide visualization opportunities that cannot be offered in person.
