MY BEGINNING, END & EVER AFTER

This project was done for my introductory drawing class at school. The premise was to create a 12-panel comic depicting the passing of time. 

In my response to this prompt, I showed the passing of time between two lovers as they aged and how their love has manifested over the years and after death. 

I emphasized the settings, lighting, and body language in each panel to evoke different moods, leaving the faces blank to invite interpretation. The bridge over the river marks the lovers’ enduring connection over the years, the flowers symbolize joyful memories carried into future generations, and the tree stands as a landmark of shelter, protection, and life in their relationship.
